Oh, the holiday season! Everyone is excited, anxious and scrambling to find or make the perfect gifts for their loved ones. Then possible mail it off in time for them to be able to open it on a certain day. That’s what we’ve been up to lately; that’s actually what we’re still doing, but… I don’t want to take too much time off from all of you guys to stress myself out bunches. So here I am typing this… what ever this is.
I’ve got a lotion recipe that seems to be working quite well. Both my mother and I have our hands in soapy water a majority of the day while we are at work and its cold and dry outside right now, since it’s wintertime. I’ll have to record what my hands and arms look like after work one day and them put some lotion on to show all of you how well it works. That is if I remember after work (just trying to get home) and the next morning ( I don’t always wake up well).
Thursday, December 14th
So I obviously didn’t get this posted yesterday. Not much is different since then though, although I did get up at the same time as yesterday. And a few house things are going to get done today. I’ve got another small batch of lotion cooking now. I need more ingredients before I can make a bigger batch to put on the shoppette.
I was going to try and go to the library or the historical society to research some of the names on my list, but it snowed heavily yesterday and now that’s not going to happen. Because I am not driving in that with little man.
I’m getting closer to being able to box up gifts to mail but its still going to take some time. I’m not sure I’ll be doing another spirit box session for a while. Maybe after Christmas we’ll get back into it in that respect. Until then, articles and shared things I find in passing. Unless something major happens.
